What is the difference between a wedding planner and a venue coordinator

A venue coordinator typically is responsible for overseeing logistics as it relates to the venue. This can include but is not limited to: food and beverage service (if it is venue provided catering), set-up, etc. Your wedding planner/manager works with your wedding "TEAM" which includes DJ, photographer, baker,  the venue coordinator, etc. to assure that all processes are streamlined and simplified for everyone and to make your day one that you won't forget.
